OC Fair

I went to the OC Fair last month with my boyfriend, sister, and her friend. It was extremely hot that day, so I wasn't in the best mood that I could be, but over all it was fun! We got two free ride tickets, along with free admission, great deal huh?

WE EAT! :)

We picked up tacos, since it was "taco tuesday" in our local mexican restaurant, and my friend Jenny cooked Southwestern soup for us! It was delicious! I'm definitely planning on taking her recipe soon :)

Hot Hot Summer

This week has been pretty warm here in SoCal. 

I have been literally either hanging out in my hall way on the wooden floor (coolest spot in our house), or running away from my heated house to go to a cafe.

While this was happening...my dad has been working on my downstairs room in this hot weather, so me, feeling bad and trying to be a good daughter, have been trying to assist him by bringing him cold ice water or other refreshments..

But I think this week has been the hottest this summer by far!

Remodeling

In my parent's house, we have two rooms downstairs, and three upstairs. I used to stay in one of the downstairs rooms, but due to the weather issue, I moved upstairs last year, and I took some time decorating my room  and repainted one of the walls with cool wall stickers.
But we have a new guest that is going to live with us! So my parents asked me to move back downstairs, which has been a storage for about a year now....And I have decided to remodel/decorate this messy room! Here are some pins that I have posted on my pinterest board for some inspirations!

Outdoor Movie Theater

I love my neighborhood! It's quiet, clean, friendly, and spontaneously awesome!
My community once in a while host an outdoor theater event at our local park. It usually plays popular G or PG rated movies, which I LOVE!
They showed "Rio" and although it was my second time watching it, it felt completely new. Watching it under the stars, eating free popcorn in my comfy chair made the whole movie watching amazing!

Last month, My family went on our very first cruise trip to Mexico. People always told me that cruise is all about eating and sleeping, and I just want to say that THEY ARE RIGHT!
I definitely needed this trip to just relax with my family and it did just that!
Our cruise first stopped by Catalina Island, and we went Snuba(ing). It was cold but cool!
