Current Likes: Glitter Guide's DIY

I have been really swamped these days with different parties; it was either me hosting, or attending. Although tiring and exhausting the parties might be, I really enjoy being a part of friendly gatherings! I love to see the surprised faces, or just a huge smile on people's faces when they got appreciated by one another! And I must admit, I think I have realized the joy of giving and 'hosting' recently about 3 years ago. I have received a lot, and I also gave here and there, but not with the same kind of JOY and happiness that I do now.
So, in order for me to host things better, I've been browsing pinterest and other blogs to get more party ideas. And I came across The Glitter Guide's DIY on how to make AWESOME balloons!
It was too cute to just keep the idea to myself, so I wanted to share it with my viewers! Enjoy and happy partying~

You're finally 22! That took long! I've been 23 for awhile before you turned 22! (made me feel so old..)
Happy Birthday you~
Thanks for everything! I'm glad to have known you and to have you as my special someone!
I hope to continue to learn from you and to fill HIS presence through you!
I appreciate you and thankful for you!

The Last Banquet

The end of the year signifies the end of classes, the end of a season, and the leap forward into new experiences. This last month I attended the senior banquet of my boyfriend, a formal event that our church ministry, the Edge, holds annually for graduating seniors. The Edge has played a hugely, significant role in both of our lives as individuals and as a couple. It is a place where we have built many of our deepest friendship, grown in Christ, and it is the place where we met and fostered the
start of our relationship. The banquet was a nice time for us to dress up and to look back on all the memories that the Edge holds for us and to look forward onto our future as adults.

Amy's Birthday Dinner

It was my friend's Amy's birthday last month, and I am just so thankful to have her in my life.
We ate at Mama D's in Tustin, which is an AMAZING Italian Place that has an AWESOME customer service, which is VERY important to me.
They had this special sauce that you can add on to your pasta, and I must say... that SAUCE is a MUST.. but sorry.. I forgot what it was called. (I think it's 'pink something'.)

Sometimes, I'm so caught up in my own busy world that gatherings like this would be my only force to hang out with my friends. But as I have been feeling/learning the importance of "community," I hope to make extra efforts, even during my busy times, to be intentional with those whom I love and cherish.

Happy (Peaceful) Weekend

Photo Cred: here Quote from here

Next week, I will be heading over to Norcal to spend time with my boyfriend's family and friends for the whole week. Since, I will be away for the whole week, I know that I will miss my quiet, peaceful home. So this weekend, I'm going to try to relax, and take a break from the world before I have to head on again!

The Edge Games

The Edge, my college ministry, had our annual games where different classes would compete against one another for FUN (of course :)
This year was relay themed, so we had many games where almost everyone was able to participate!
As a graduate, I had the privilege of being one of the judges! It was good to see my friends again and to be able to reconnect to my college community.
Hopefully, there will be an alumni team next year (?)

Thanks

My boyfriend, who is very indifferent about Disneyland, and who just likes to chill, sacrifices so much of his time, money, and strength to take me to Disneyland or anywhere else that he doesn't want to go almost EVERYDAY.
Although I KNOW that he doesn't like to do all these things, he never shows any signs of dislike, but he acts more excited than I am. (Something I really need to learn from him)
So I just want to say how lucky I am and how thankful I am to be with him :)

Thanks!

Happiest Place on Earth

As a post-grad student who doesn't have much to do before law school, I went to Disneyland a lot.
Some of you may think that Disneyland is just full of long waits, crowded people, and tired feet, but to me, Disneyland is another fantasy land where I feel like I get to step out of my "reality" and jump into this happily ever after place.
It's not really the ride, or the people that makes Disneyland the "Happiest Place on Earth," but the vibe that hits me right when I enter the main st. of Disneyland with FULL of lights, happy people, pretty decorations and awesome view of the castle! I'm really going to miss this place when I go to law school.

Fantasmic 20th Anniversary

Happy 20th Anniversary Fantasmic!
I remember when I first saw Fantasmic about 12 years ago, and I was completely blown away. My favorite part was when Mickey saved the day with his awesome sword and with his awesome dance! Fantasmic gave me a little spark of hope and excitement about performances and about LIFE! Don't you just want to be one of the characters when you see it?

I feel special to be able to celebrate their 20th anniversary as an annual pass holder with my boyfriend and my friend, Michelle :)
I hope it never ends!!

Happy Weekend!

Currently waiting and anticipating for law schools. This new stage of life has been overwhelming for me. "Trying" to be an adult, having more responsibilities...
I guess this is why I felt like the above quote caught my attention.

How are you these days?
