Weekend in Norcal

Last month after Sunny's graduation, we went up to Norcal for Sunny's home church retreat. The theme was "His plan and not my plan." It was the perfect theme for us and it was so great seeing everyone :)
Here are some pictures from the weekend... the pictures are a bit blurry here and there :/

HE graduated!

My Boyfriend Graduated from University of California, Irvine! The ceremony was held last month, and I am very proud of him! :) Good job you!

^^ The ceremony was so long! but it wasn't even my boyfriend's school (undergraduate for business admin major). It was for the graduate school! I guess UCI is known for their business school :)

All you need is...

My Boyfriend (Sunny) and I didn't think that law school would be THIS hard..

Dating for a year and half, we thought we were strong, solid, and set. But we were wrong.. 

I started getting busy, selfish, and self-centered. I no longer had the time to spend some quality time with Sunny, and my life revolved around reading, writing, and networking. (<-- all law school stuff)

Fortunately, Sunny was able to deal with my craziness and accomodate his needs for my needs. But what we did not realize was that by not spending quality time with each other, we were slowly drifting apart. On top of this, I was slowly drifting away from God because I also did not spend quality time with him. 

As I was drifting apart from Sunny and God, I became vulnerable to any temptations and attacks. By the second semester of law school came along, I was physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually drained.

Ice Skating

I haven't ice skated in such a long time, so let me just say that I sucked...
But it was really fun taking pictures with my retro camera and actually feeling like it's winter (esp. in California..)
The best part of the day was that we got two free admissions tickets!

OC Fair

I went to the OC Fair last month with my boyfriend, sister, and her friend. It was extremely hot that day, so I wasn't in the best mood that I could be, but over all it was fun! We got two free ride tickets, along with free admission, great deal huh?

Outdoor Movie Theater

I love my neighborhood! It's quiet, clean, friendly, and spontaneously awesome!
My community once in a while host an outdoor theater event at our local park. It usually plays popular G or PG rated movies, which I LOVE!
They showed "Rio" and although it was my second time watching it, it felt completely new. Watching it under the stars, eating free popcorn in my comfy chair made the whole movie watching amazing!

Boyfriend's Surprise part 3: Running Man

This was Definitely the MAIN surprise for his Birthday.
My boyfriend is in LOVEE with this Korean show called Running Man and in that show, they play a main game that is a mix of 'hide and go seek' & 'tag'.
Basically, my boyfriend was the person who had to tag or eliminate people by taking off other people's name tags, while other people (civilians) had to search for clues to eliminate my boyfriend. The twist to this game was that there were two spies who help my boyfriend, but their identities couldn't be revealed because if the civilians found out that they were spies, then they had the ability to eliminate the spies.
I know.. a bit complicating huh?
But because this show and game was my boyfriend's FAVORITE, I really wanted to throw him a running man party, and Thanks to EVERYONE who participated, this party was a SUCCESS!

Boyfriend's Birthday Surprise part 2

Midnight surprise! All of the youth from his Thai Laos Church got together and surprised him at midnight!
We even made a sign with his a funny picture of him as an O (Sonsern is his name)
Although we were anticipating a great surprise from him, our surprise was ruined by us walking into his room, when he was in the bathroom -_-...
So his roommates were surprised, but not him.. O WELL!

Boyfriend's Birthday Surprise Part 1

My boyfriend's birthday was during our trip up to norcal with his friends, family, and church people. So his mom and I decided to just celebrate his birthday during our church retreat by blowing flashlight candles and eating pumpkin pie that the retreat site provided for us!
It was nice to celebrate and appreciate him in any way we can with the people that love him.
