While my girlfriend, the editor of this blog, is currently in New York having her awesome vacation, I have visited up in Northern California for spring break. The life here is a bit different from my life in SoCal. Different food, people, and weather.. But although, I miss SoCal and my girlfriend, being in my hometown feels good!

Going to New York Soon!

So, today, my friend, Patrice and I spent our time together planning for our New York trip that is coming up in couple of days with our two other friends!

At first, I was indifferent about the trip even though I've been waiting for this moment for the last four years.. But when we started planning, everything hit me! The great city, buildings, shopping, food, and museums! It's going to be great!!

Mick's Karma Bar

I'm not a huge fan of burgers, but this place was AMAZING! It's called Mick's Karma Bar
Their burger was not greasy, and there specialty drinks were amazing! my favorite currently was their strawberry lemonade!

Today was one of those sad days that just brought me down..

Started to think about the negative things about myself, my life, and my future. My thoughts wandered around knit picking on who I am and what I have done wrong in the past.
All I wanted to do was to just shut my mind and to stay at peace, but I wasn't able to.. Next thing I knew, I saw myself hooked.. Letting my horrible thoughts take the best of me..

But things immediately changed when I saw the beautiful tulips outside my door, and got some of my recently favorite yogurt in my tummy.
All I needed was company, appreciation, and a reminder that even though there can be pains and sorrows in this world, I'm not alone :)

New Arising Star: Priska

Hello!

Today, I would like to introduce one of my close friends, and a great musician!
Her name is "Priska!"
So let me tell you about this amazing girl.


               She not only has the greatest voice in the world, but she is such an inspiration to so many people including me. She has been one of those people that would help you and love on you when you least expect it, and she gladly shares your burdens so that you can have some peace within yourself.


Imagine, if she has this great of a heart, how much greater would her voice be!

Last week was really warm here in Orange County, so my friend, Louis, and I went to the beach, got some amazing Gelato from here!
It was nice just being out in the sun, walking around, and having quality time with my friend!

The Perfect Birthday Weekend Part 3

For my birthday, my boyfriend kindly planned a three day date for me!

He first surprised me with gifts outside of my house, which I loved, and then he took me kayaking!
It was so great being at the beach on a warm day.
And then the second day, we had an amazing shaved ice, walked down the lake, and watched The Vow.
Last day, we had the perfect dinner "Thai Food!"

The Perfect Birthday Weekend Part 2

On my actual Birthday, my girlfriends took me out for a special brunch to this place called
 Paris in a Cup.
It was a really pretty restaurant that was just perfect for us girls to chit chat, and to have our girly tea time!
As I greeted my new age of 23, I came to appreciate my friends more and to remind myself not to take anyone for granted. God has placed his heart for people in my heart, and as I continue to walk in my journey, I want to live that out through serving in any way possible.

So I just want to give a shout out to all my friends by saying..
