Boyfriend's Surprise part 3: Running Man

This was Definitely the MAIN surprise for his Birthday.
My boyfriend is in LOVEE with this Korean show called Running Man and in that show, they play a main game that is a mix of 'hide and go seek' & 'tag'.
Basically, my boyfriend was the person who had to tag or eliminate people by taking off other people's name tags, while other people (civilians) had to search for clues to eliminate my boyfriend. The twist to this game was that there were two spies who help my boyfriend, but their identities couldn't be revealed because if the civilians found out that they were spies, then they had the ability to eliminate the spies.
I know.. a bit complicating huh?
But because this show and game was my boyfriend's FAVORITE, I really wanted to throw him a running man party, and Thanks to EVERYONE who participated, this party was a SUCCESS!

Boyfriend's Birthday Surprise part 2

Midnight surprise! All of the youth from his Thai Laos Church got together and surprised him at midnight!
We even made a sign with his a funny picture of him as an O (Sonsern is his name)
Although we were anticipating a great surprise from him, our surprise was ruined by us walking into his room, when he was in the bathroom -_-...
So his roommates were surprised, but not him.. O WELL!

Boyfriend's Birthday Surprise Part 1

My boyfriend's birthday was during our trip up to norcal with his friends, family, and church people. So his mom and I decided to just celebrate his birthday during our church retreat by blowing flashlight candles and eating pumpkin pie that the retreat site provided for us!
It was nice to celebrate and appreciate him in any way we can with the people that love him.

You're finally 22! That took long! I've been 23 for awhile before you turned 22! (made me feel so old..)

Amy's Birthday Dinner

It was my friend's Amy's birthday last month, and I am just so thankful to have her in my life.
We ate at Mama D's in Tustin, which is an AMAZING Italian Place that has an AWESOME customer service, which is VERY important to me.
They had this special sauce that you can add on to your pasta, and I must say... that SAUCE is a MUST.. but sorry.. I forgot what it was called. (I think it's 'pink something'.)

Sometimes, I'm so caught up in my own busy world that gatherings like this would be my only force to hang out with my friends. But as I have been feeling/learning the importance of "community," I hope to make extra efforts, even during my busy times, to be intentional with those whom I love and cherish.

Thanks for being such a great part of my life! Always encouraging me to be a better person. Although I'm older than you, you set an example for me to be brave and to stand up for what I believe in. Don't lose your passion for God and just continue to be who you are in Christ.

The Perfect Birthday Weekend Part 3

For my birthday, my boyfriend kindly planned a three day date for me!

He first surprised me with gifts outside of my house, which I loved, and then he took me kayaking!
It was so great being at the beach on a warm day.
And then the second day, we had an amazing shaved ice, walked down the lake, and watched The Vow.
Last day, we had the perfect dinner "Thai Food!"

The Perfect Birthday Weekend Part 2

On my actual Birthday, my girlfriends took me out for a special brunch to this place called
 Paris in a Cup.
It was a really pretty restaurant that was just perfect for us girls to chit chat, and to have our girly tea time!
As I greeted my new age of 23, I came to appreciate my friends more and to remind myself not to take anyone for granted. God has placed his heart for people in my heart, and as I continue to walk in my journey, I want to live that out through serving in any way possible.

So I just want to give a shout out to all my friends by saying..

The Perfect Birthday Weekend Part 1

Last weekend, I celebrated my birthday with family, friends, and boyfriend!
And let me tell you, it was amazing! I felt so loved and thankful for everything that everyone did for me.

I had dinner with my family before church. We not only celebrated my birthday but also my parents' 24th Anniversary.

My girlfriends and I went to LA to have our ALL DAY LA TRIP for my friend Patrice's birthday, which was a month late.

We first had Brunch here! Which was AMAZINGLY delicious!
